House rules

Dear vacationers, we are delighted that you have chosen our vacation apartment in the beautiful Rhine Valley and would like to welcome you warmly.

Our vacation rental is intended to be your home away from home. We want you to feel comfortable and be able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into furnishing it and hope that you will find everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The following house rules are intended to help ensure a harmonious stay. We have also listed a few rules that we hope you will understand.

By treating the apartment with care, you will help us to continue offering you and other guests satisfactory accommodation in the future.

General:

If you find that anything is missing from the property or if you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. All items located in the vacation rental or belonging to it may and should be used by guests. Please treat all furnishings and inventory with care and take good care of the rental property. In addition to the accommodation costs, the rental price includes bed linen, towels, dish towels, dishwashing and cleaning supplies, and garbage bags.

Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions.

By booking the vacation apartment, you agree to the following house rules.

If you have any questions, we are of course happy to help. Our vacation apartment is a non-smoking apartment.

We therefore ask you NOT to smoke in the apartment. Thank you very much. Arrival and departure:

The vacation apartment is ready for occupancy from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Please be sure to let us know your estimated arrival time a few days before arrival. The key code will be sent by email one day before arrival. On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. and left in a clean and tidy condition (for exceptions, see “Late check-out”). All used dishes must be cleaned and returned to the cupboards; beds do not need to be stripped. Before departure, please simply place all used towels in a pile on the bathroom floor.

Bathroom:

To avoid limescale deposits, we ask you to wipe the shower tiles after showering. If possible, leave the window and door open for ventilation. No hygiene products, waste, food leftovers, harmful liquids, fats, or similar items may be thrown or poured into the shower or toilet, as this can lead to unpleasant blockages. Please use the facilities provided.

Damage:

No one damages things intentionally, but accidents can happen to anyone. We would appreciate it if you could report any damage so that we don't discover it during the final cleaning after you have left. The tenant is liable for damage in the k amount of the replacement costs.

Ventilation:

To prevent mold growth, we ask that you ventilate the rooms sufficiently, at least once a day for 5-10 minutes, and especially after showering.

Final cleaning:

The apartment must be left swept clean upon departure, dishes must be washed and put away (see “Arrival and departure”), and trash must be separated (see “Trash”). If there is particularly heavy soiling upon departure, this will be charged according to the amount of work required.

Interim cleaning:

If you would like interim cleaning during your stay, we will be happy to arrange this for you. This will be charged at a flat rate of €60.00. Liability: The landlord is not liable for any valuables belonging to the guest(s).

House rules:

Under certain circumstances, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the vacation apartment without the guest's knowledge.

Pets:

Animals are not permitted in the apartment.

Internet/Wi-Fi:

Wireless internet access (Wi-Fi) is available free of charge in the vacation apartment. Please ask us for the access code. You use the internet at your own risk; the landlord excludes any liability in connection with the tenant's use of the internet. For the use of internet access via Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi usage rules must also be observed. Please understand that we (must) protect ourselves against misuse with your signature.

Kitchen:

The kitchen has just been completely refurbished. Please treat the kitchen furnishings and appliances with care. Please only put clean dishes back in the cupboards. The same applies to cutlery, pots, and appliances that you have used. Do not place hot pots and other hot items on the tables or countertops without coasters. Always use a cutting board as a base for cutting. Please leave the interior of the oven clean. No waste, food scraps, harmful liquids, fats, or similar items may be thrown or poured into the sink, as this can lead to unpleasant blockages. The refrigerator should be emptied before departure.

Garbage:

As we are required to separate garbage, we kindly ask for your assistance in this matter.

Rubbish must be separated as follows :

->Packaging material: yellow bin (all packaging with the green dot, no food waste)

-> Papier -> Restmüll (Essensreste, alles was nicht unter die ersten beiden Kategorien fällt) Müllbeutel stellen wir Ihnen zur Verfügung. Bitte entsorgen Sie Altglas selbstständig, Glascontainer finden Sie in ca. 200 m. Mehrwegflaschen und sonstiges Pfandgut ist ebenfalls selbstständig zu entsorgen.

Additional costs:

Water, electricity, heating, and garbage disposal are included in the rental price. These costs are calculated for normal consumption; if they are above average, the landlord reserves the right to charge additiona

Price reduction:

In the event of a short-term failure of furnishings, public utilities, or due to force majeure, there is no entitlement to a price reduction. Defects in the vacation apartment must be reported to the landlord immediately. The guest shall grant the landlord a reasonable period of time to remedy the defects. Later complaints will not be accepted and cannot be taken into account.

Rauchen:

Das Rauchen ist in unserer Ferienwohnung grundsätzlich verboten. Beschädigungen wie Brandflecken und Löcher in oder an Möbeln, Fußboden, Bettwäsche, Tischdecken usw. haben zur Folge, dass wir Ihnen dies zum Wiederbeschaffungswert in Rechnung stellen müssen.

Cleaning:

If you have an accident (extreme dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), please clean it up immediately. Brooms, dustpans, mop buckets, mops, and cleaning supplies are available. We ask that you leave the vacation apartment swept clean upon departure and return all used dishes to the cupboards clean.

Key code:

Please do not share the key code with anyone. The code will be sent to you by email one day before your arrival. It expires at 12:00 noon on the day of your departure. Your code is valid for both the front door and the apartment door.

Shoes:

We kindly ask you not to wear outdoor shoes inside the apartment.

Duty of care:

We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and to ensure that fellow travelers and relatives also comply with the rental conditions. Please pay particular attention to your children. All windows should be closed when leaving the apartment to avoid possible damage from storms. Please use water, heating, and electricity sparingly.

Late check-out:

For late check-out between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., half the daily rate will be charged. For late check-out after 6:00 p.m., the cost of one night's accommodation will be charged. However, this is only possible by arrangement.

Cancellations:

We hope that you will not have to cancel your vacation unexpectedly. However, should this occur, the following cancellation fees will apply: (We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.)

Cancellation of booking

-> Up to 2 months before arrival: free of charge

-> Up to 1 month: 50%

-> Up to 14 days: 80%

If no prior verbal or written cancellation is made, we will unfortunately have to charge the full amount.

Quiet hours:

In the spirit of good neighborliness, we ask that you observe public quiet hours, such as midday, nighttime, and Sunday quiet hours. Out of consideration for others, quiet hours should also be observed in the vacation apartment itself between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Last update of house rules:
